Pittsburgh Engagement Photos: Phipps Conservatory, Mellon Park & PPG Paints Arena
High school sweethearts Gingie and Ryan were so fun to work with! We started the engagement shoot at Phipps Conservatory which had beautiful summer gardens with vibrant, blooming flowers. Gingie and I spotted the bridge with locks on our drive to Phipps and immediately knew it was a must-have spot for pictures. I kept them laughing and interacting throughout their photography session for natural, un-posed pictures.
From there we made our way to Mellon Park which featured rustic, wrought iron gates, stone features, and a stunning courtyard. We timed it perfectly to capture the gorgeous golden hour lighting at sunset. Gingie and Ryan are raving Pittsburgh Penguins fans so a stop at PPG Paints Arena was a must to end the evening. The rain held off until our last photograph (that was a blessing) then a sudden downpour had us racing to our cars.
It was such a wonderful evening and I look forward to working with both of them again!
